Just wanted to inform those Twitter users that there are some great Twitter tools out there to help structure your Twitter acct.

TwitterFeed - great tool to "automate" your updates from any RSS Feed

Twitoria - great tool to check how many Tweeps are actually following you. This tool lets you find which friends haven't been active for any number of days (your choice).

Social OOMPH - The mother load for SEO tools... This tool lets you schedule updates, send automated DM's, accept or decline friends, save and reuse drafts and so much more! A MUST if running a Twitter Campaign.

now I really feel like a novice! I didn't even know there were Twitter tools out there that were legit. Do you feel all of these are necessary to run a successful Twitter campaign? If not, which one of these would you recommend to utilize first?

haha there are so many out there its crazy! To answer your question I don't think they are all necessary; they each have their benefits. If you were going to explore one I would say start with Twitter Feed... doesn't require much time and it can help you tweet when you don't have the time.
