How about a section for FREE SEO tools? 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 1
I have subscribed to this forum and I am excited to be a part of a new and growing forum like this. So, I hope it does not come across as too picky, or like I am a nag. I am wondering if you might develop a discussion board for Free SEO tools? A place where we can exchange links to SEO software, SEO tools and other resources.

Bettie that is a great idea. I think we will do that for our registered members. What do you think we should do? Should we actually upload the programs to the discussion board or just list the URLs of the tools? Plus, what kind of tools are you most interested in getting information on?

It would be great if you uploaded the programs if they were programs. I am just interested in getting information on as many of the SEO tools that are available.

I am mainly interested in White Hat SEO tools, so I would be interested in SEO software programs that would assist me in managing my SEO campaign. I have reviewed many like Web CEO (at least that is what I think it is). I don't know what is actually good and what isn't. I would like to find something that is actually going to work and help me. I know from the reviews I have read that there are many "baloney" programs out there that make many claims and at the end of the day they just provide air. I want something that has some meat to it. Does that make sense?

Bettie we have created the free tools section for registered members only. We will start to post the free tools that we have had success with here. Please make certain that you do the same. We are very interested and excited to learn about new tools!

Granted, I am completely new to search engine optimization. Can you tell me about SEO tools? What does this mean?

What I am talking about here is tools that you can utilize for your SEO campaign. So for example, a rank checker for example, or a backlink tracking software so you can study your competition's site and see where they are getting links from, etc. There are many types of SEO tools and I expect that these guys will be listing some on this forum soon. I keep checking but have not seen anything posted just yet. Which brings up the question, are you guys compiling a list of Free SEO Tools?

Anyway sveith, a couple of good free seo tools that I use regularly are "SEO for Firefox" and also the "[url=http://tools.seobook.com/seo-toolbar/]SEO Toolbar[/url". I am looking for some type of SEO software tool that will allow me to manage my campaign. While the tools listed above are great tools, they do not help me keep track of reciprocal links that I have created nor do they assist me in locating possible link partners, etc. That is what I was hoping to find here.
